Foot Operated Log Splitter

This Logmaster log splitter is a low cost alternative to electric or petrol hydraulic log splitters, and can split logs safely and easily, simply by using the foot pump.

With one-footed operation and streamlined, maintenance-free steel construction it will split all logs including seasoned and green wood to a maximum log size of 45.7cm in length and 25.4cm diameter in just seconds. Simply adjust the foot pedal height to at least 33cm and push down with firm pressure, this may need to be repeated three or four times to split some logs.

The log splitter removes the need to use a dangerous axe, and no upper body strength is needed. It needs no fuel or power, so there is no noise or fumes. It is a great way to make a pile of firewood logs for the fire or woodburning stove. It is made from powder-coated, heavy-duty steel, and folds down for compact storage in the shed or garage and features a safety clip for storing the splitter when folded.
