This striking evergreen groundcover plant produces a mat of gorgeous variegated leaves with clean white edges. In early and mid spring, vibrant violet-purple flowers completely smother the foliage with colour. Aubrieta ‘Dr Mules Variegata’ is excellent for all-year-round interest in the garden and is perfect for rock gardens, patio containers, spilling over sunny banks or as ground cover in hot dry borders. Grow Aubrieta in any well drained soil in full sun at 45cm (18″) apart to form a dense carpet. If planting on heavy or clay soils, dig in plenty of coarse grit or sharp sand to improve drainage prior to planting.

Cut Aubrieta plants back after flowering to promote a fresh flush of growth and maintain their compact form.
